General description:
Diagnosis. Antenna 1 thick, uncuspidate, with accessory flagellum. Mandible palp 3-articulate. Maxilla 1 palp 1-articulate. Gnathopod 1 small, simple, weakly carpochelate, propodus elongate, thin, attenuate, tapering, dactyl medium to elongate and curved. Gnathopod 2 small, subchelate or partly to fully carpochelate, propodus rectangular, palm transverse, weakly excavate to weakly chelate. Basis (i.e. article 2) of pereopod 5 rectolinear, expanded in pereopod 6–7. Urosomite 1 elongate with doral keel. Urosomite 3 unvaulted. Telson elongate, reaching apex of uropod 3 peduncle. Uropod 2–3, exopods shorter than endopods.
Habitat:
Marine, cool temperate Australia. Littoral.
