General description:
Head and body with large lateral spines. Head spines with tiny surface denticles; pereonites 5 and 7 with long, slender lateral spines about 0.5–0.6 length of pereonite 6 spines; pleotelson posterior projection about 1/3 longer than pleotelson body; uropods recessed into simple cuticle fold (From Just, 2011).
